Copyright Policy
Last updated 17 October 2026
We respect intellectual property and act on notices of alleged infringement under the EU Digital Services Act. We also accept notices in the US DMCA format.
Reporting infringement
Use the Report button on the drop, or send a notice to support@slingdrop.my with the subject "Copyright notice", including: the work you believe is infringed; the Slingdrop link(s) to the material; an explanation of why it infringes; your name and email; and a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your notice is accurate and complete. A notice in the US DMCA format works too.
What happens next
We review the notice, remove or disable access to the material where it's infringing, and tell you what we decided. We send the person who shared it a statement of reasons. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are closed.
Appeals
If you believe material was removed by mistake, reply to our statement of reasons within six months, explaining why, for example because you own the rights or have a licence. A person reviews every appeal, and we restore material that was removed wrongly. Either side can also take the matter to court in Sweden or where they live.
