Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 17 October 2026
Slingdrop is for sharing work, not harm. These rules apply to everything you upload and share.
Don't share
- Child sexual abuse material, or anything that sexualises minors. We report it to the Swedish Police Authority (Polisen) and preserve evidence as the law requires.
- Malware, phishing pages, or files designed to deceive people into giving up credentials, money or data.
- Content that infringes others' copyright, trademarks or privacy, including leaked personal data.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, content that threatens, harasses or incites violence against people, or promotes terrorism.
- Content that is illegal where you are or where your recipients are.
Don't misuse the service
- Don't use Slingdrop as a public file host for mass distribution, piracy or hotlinking from other sites.
- Don't try to get around plan limits, rate limits, access controls or our abuse detection, or access data that isn't yours.
- Don't send unsolicited bulk messages or spam with Slingdrop links.
- Don't probe, scan or load-test Slingdrop without permission. Security researchers: see our responsible disclosure policy.
What we do
- Every upload is scanned for known malware and abuse. Reported or flagged drops may be paused while we review them. If something breaks this policy we may remove it, block its file hashes from being uploaded again, and suspend the account.
- Report a drop from the Report button on any drop, or email support@slingdrop.my with the link, why you believe it's illegal or breaks this policy, and your name and email. We confirm receipt, review reports promptly and tell you what we decided.
- When we act against content or an account we send the owner a statement of reasons, and they can appeal for six months by replying to it. Our Terms of Service explain content moderation and appeals in full.
